Caroline studied for her 200 hour teaching training course with Heather Elton in 2014 in Hatha and Vinyasa Flow and has since gone on to complete a further 200 hour training with The Yoga People in Bali in Yin and Ashtanga, as well as Pregnancy and Post-Natal training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli through Yoga Campus.
Caroline’s intention is to create a safe space in her classes to allow you to relax, rejuvenate and take time out for yourself. She is a great believer in diminishing the ego especially when practicing yoga. In life we often become gripped by defending our ‘ego-identity’. This causes us to feel stressed and under attack, constantly looking over our shoulder at what others are doing. Yoga is a very personal practice and whilst striving for self improvement can be healthy it is also important to be kind to yourself and progress with your practice at steady pace that is right for you and your body. Caroline first fell in love with yoga attending a small Ashtanga yoga studio in London. For an hour and a half twice a week she had found a place where she could switch off from a hectic lifestyle and clear her mind through breathing techniques and yoga postures. She now has a daily yoga practice that allows her to feel more present, grounded and positive.
